In fact, if it was actually December I am sure I would be putty in Antone's hands for he offers up everything you'd expect of a big band leader. Not least a voice that is syrup and from a time when such things were the only game in town. So note perfect in what it does, a song so catchy it had us finger-clicking.... and that is saying something for someone who is so rabidly alternative in leaning. A lovely break from the norm and done with so much chutzpah we could be in AP's Las Vegas residency. Liquid stuff!
